The number of clients that I work with who have cancer has increased over the past 3 years. With lots of reading, listening to ‘qualified Doctors’, listening to people’s stories, you get to ask, why does a certain way of healing work for one person yet not another.
I’d like to share a simple guideline, of information that seems to come up continually and be supportive in assisting people and their families as they go through this dis-ease in the body. In the end, you know your body, you know what it can handle, listen to it, deeply. And then follow your inner guidance and knowing.
1. When a person’s immune system is strong, cancer cells cannot multiply and form tumors.
2. When a person has cancer, it can be because that person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These are due to genes, environment, diet, and lifestyle. Changing and eliminating factors that ensure the continued growth of such an ailment, go a long way to helping one survive such an ordeal.
3. A positive mental attitude helps. It generates well-being throughout the body.
4. No matter which way you decide to ‘tackle’ the dis-ease, ensure you are well informed of all options.
5. Sugar is a known cancer favorite. Eliminate sugar completely. Even substitute sugars like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame which is harmful. Alternatives are Manuka honey or molasses in small quantities.
6. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white. Alternatives are sea salt crystals, no salt when cooking or preparing meals yourself, Bragg’s aminos.
7. Avoid foods with high caffeine content. Green tea is a great alternative and has cancer-fighting properties.
8. Drink lots of water. Keep the body hydrated. Filtered water or purified water is a better alternative.
9. Eat less meat, as it requires a lot of digestive enzymes to digest it.
10. Cancer cells cannot grow in an oxygenated environment. Exercise daily, breathing deeply, ensures the cells are energized to support the body’s journey to better health.
These are great wisdoms and they are sensible and easy to do. Journey well. Arohanui Atarangi.
