My Dream is to build high class global healing centre, busy with guests, students for the classes, clients for the healing. The land is eco sustainable, own gardens for medicine, native plants, vegetables and fruit trees, chicken, sheep, cows, horses, dogs, cats, solar and wind powered off the grid. A woman's corner, includes healing medicinal baths using rongoaa, gathering and making balms and concoctions for healing a corner for healing baths for men, many types of workshops specific to our teachings, Haka, waiata, weaving, mau raakaau, Maori martial arts, mahi aa pona, dance, concerts, Tiwawe, a cafe or restaurant where tours come and experience northlands hospitality.
Elders living at the venue, participating in ceremon, ie pure, whakapae, cleansing of the land house, person, being available for the people but with respect and honour.
Natural Oora Clinic
Natural Oora is a standalone clinic, although its roots lie within the Maori Healers domain. Part of the ethos for Natural Oora is to re-instil the ancestral teachings of healing and have them back in the homes like they used to be. Traditional healing was educational, family oriented and steeped in common sense and it's backbone is to heal, support, and uplift the people.
This traditional healing addresses one’s spiritual being and state, attending to blocks, injuries, or interruption, within. At times, asking for ancestral help to heal the past and recalibrating at a cellular level, to raise the frequency of one's vibration giving us great options. This allows the mind and the body to follow suit and have a state of wellbeing.
Rongoa Maori Clinic
Wednesdays are devoted to providing a koha clinic to the community under the umbrella of Rongoaa Maori: the many layered Maori healing arts include Romiromi & Mirimiri – bodywork / Mahi Raakau - Self Healing / Wairaakau - tonics and balms / Karakia – prayer, to name a few.
Mama's / Haputanga Clinic
Monday's we conduct a Mama’s clinic with women who will soon have, have just had, or are mothers with older babies or children. This is about supporting these mums with good effective information, healing themselves and helping them with their babies.

A last word
The teachers / healers of old spent long hours honing their craft. Aunty Heni often talked about how her teachers (whanau) would waananga - debate the healing arts, the medicinal knowledge of plants, the stars, trees, waterways, the moon, gardening, the earth, the sea, haputanga, the cycle of a young woman, the cycle of a young man, more.
Modern healing is becoming complicated, it's ways are lazy, people gurufy. Depth and wisdom from good teachers, strong elders is missing.
Papa Joe often spoke of 'common sense not being so common anymore'. He is correct. Common sense is grounded knowledge, time tested, given with great love and no expectations. The greatest tool we can give anyone is to remind them of their ability to heal. And the greatest healer in your life is YOU! I truly believe that and I have seen this truth fulfilled many times.
Journey well, look after the self, laugh and love with great exuberance for all you do.
Thank you, Atarangi.
