Testimonials

My session with Ata marked a positive turning point in my life for which I’m eternally grateful. Ata is gifted, experienced, intuitive and incredibly compassionate. I’d recommend her to anyone who searching for a genuine healing.

“Ata and the Maori healers are shifting the consciousness on the planet in a unique way by working with individuals to release what holds them back and heal that which needs healing on all levels. They empower people to directly connect with their own inner sources of wisdom and being. It is refreshing to be a supportive group setting that encouraging you to laugh, cry and let go of repressed emotions, all the stuff most of us westerners hold inside. For those that are ready to do their inner work in a real way I highly recommend a session.”

I was introduced to Ata and Manu from several friends who told me about their 12,000 year old Maori tradition of healing. As an avid enthusiast of many different modalities, I was eager to meet them. They worked as a two person massage with four hands on me at the same time and although this was not my first encounter with the idea of a team approach to massage, I was overwhelmed by the focused intensity and unfolding approach of their style. The first clue that this was going to be a unique experience was when Manu picked up my guitar and they both sang a beautiful duet. Later they explained that this was part of their culture. “Music is the first thing that touches the body”. Then, with a slow and deliberate increase of intensity, they worked into my sore muscles so differently than anything else I had encountered and I have run the full spectrum from Rolfing to Reiki. At one point, Ata sat in meditation over me while Manu pressed deeper and deeper not just into my physical body but beyond to the emotional and soul level. Many images from my childhood came up for me as I relaxed into the process and tears of joy flooded over me as they concluded the session with another ceremonial song of the islands that is sung when a new born baby is born to the tribe.
I am so pleased to have met them and have had other occasions to visit with them. I highly recommend you do the same.
